New Plan: Now Go (Day 1) Devotional - On a missionIn today's scripture, Jesus is talking to his disciples, some of his closest friends, and he sends them out on a mission. He asks them to go into the world, to all nations, and make disciples. To make disciples means to lead others to faith in Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their relationship with him. It involves not only sharing the gospel and inviting others to meet Jesus, but also guiding and mentoring them in their spiritual journey. You might not feel like you are equipped or experienced enough to mentor others, but we can all share out faith. Jesus doesn't say, 'wait' until you have memorised the Bible or 'hesitate' until your personal problems have been sorted out. He says 'Now go' - in the middle of your mess and regardless of your experience. Go and share your faith with others in words and action.Over the next seven days, we will journey together as we unpack the topic of 'evangelisation', the act of sharing the good news of Jesus with others. Telling others about Jesus isn't always easy, but if you are a Christian and know the love of God, it means someone once shared the good news with you. We will explore some tools and biblical principles together so that we can share the life-changing love of Jesus with others.

(Day 6) Last Day - Do Something with it Devotional - As we end this Plan today, let's ask God to empower us as we continue on our journey to better stewardship.Heavenly Father,As we come before You today, we are filled with gratitude for the gifts and talents You have entrusted to us. Thank You for the unique Callings You have placed on our lives and for the opportunities to serve You in the Kingdom.Lord, we confess that at times fear and uncertainty have held us back from fully embracing our Purpose and stewarding our blessings well. Forgive us for the moments when we have buried our talents instead of using them to Glorify You and advance Your Kingdom.Today, we surrender our fears and insecurities to You, trusting in Your Strength and Guidance. Empower us, Lord, to step out in faith and do something extraordinary with everything You have given us. May we no longer make excuses but instead, boldly pursue the dreams and visions You have placed in our hearts.Father, help us to be faithful stewards of Your Blessings, using them to bring Glory to Your Name and to bless others. Grant us wisdom and discernment as we seek to fulfill Your Calling on our lives. And finally, Lord, give us hearts that are open and willing to give more than we had before. Help us to be generous with our time, our talents, and our resources, knowing that You will bless our obedience and faithfulness. In Jesus' Name, we pray,Amen.

Verse - Acts 5:1-10 NIV [1] Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. [2] With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet. [3] Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? [4] Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.” [5] When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. And great fear seized all who heard what had happened. [6] Then some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him. [7] About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. [8] Peter asked her, “Tell me, is this the price you and Ananias got for the land?” “Yes,” she said, “that is the price.” [9] Peter said to her, “How could you conspire to test the Spirit of the Lord? Listen! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.” [10] At that moment she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. https://bible.com/bible/111/act.5.1-10.NIV

(Day 5) Do Something with it - Giving More Than Lip ServiceNow, here’s a cautionary tale from Acts 5:1-10 about Ananias and Sapphira. They thought they could pull a fast one on God by holding back a portion of their offering. Spoiler alert: It didn’t end well for them. Let’s make a pledge to give God our all, not just lip service.Reflection: Are there areas in your life where you've been holding back from giving your best to God?
